What It Means To Be A Member School A Better Chance partners with over 200 college preparatory schools across the nation.

Our school partners must meet certain requirements for commitment to diversity, financial aid allocation, academic excellence and personal and social growth.

Becoming a Member School means your school is dedicated to educational access.

A school that joins A Better Chance’s network of Member Schools makes two commitments:

Providing Access

A commitment to ensuring A Better Chance families have access to transformational educational opportunities

Providing Community

A commitment to cultivating an independent school ecosystem that includes underserved populations.

How To Become A Member School

A representative from a potential Member School should complete the Member School Inquiry Form. Upon receiving the form, someone from the A Better Chance staff will reach out to the school representative to explore potential membership.

If selected for the Member School network, a school will officially become a Member School in July and onboarded the following September.

Membership Fee

A Better Chance charges a nominal fee to become a member of our network. This fee covers some costs associated with helping families gain access to a Member School. Once A Better Chance staff connects with you, you’ll be able to discuss the fee directly with them.
