Tayo Famakinwa Vice President and Head of Organizational Effectiveness, UPS
Tayo is Vice President at UPS. He was a Managing Director at Teneo, Inc., a global CEO advisory firm. Tayo has over 14 years of industry experience consulting large scale global organizations in business transformations across several domains, including: new business launch, outsourcing, technology, cost-reduction, post-merger integration, spin-offs, and operating model implementation. At Teneo, Tayo’s clients spanned several industries including: retail, gaming, auto, FS, and CPG.
Tayo joined Teneo in 2014. Prior to Teneo, Tayo was with Accenture in its Management Consulting Capital Markets Practice, where he managed client delivery streams in support of large-scale transformation initiatives across investment banking, insurance, private wealth management, and ratings agencies. He also supported the Capital Markets Practice as a contributor to the Digital Transformation working group and as Chicago lead of an employee resource group.
Before joining Accenture, Tayo worked for Advanced Objects, Inc., a Chicago-based proprietary technology development and financial services consulting firm, where he managed client delivery in e-business and marketing. Tayo has also held process re-engineering roles at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
Tayo holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and neuroscience from Duke University in North Carolina. A native Chicagoan, Tayo currently resides in San Francisco with his wife and two sons, where he continues to contribute to the Chicago Cares Foundation and serves on the Young Alumni Development Council and Regional Alumni Board for Duke University.
